Routes

It has been said that there are as many different pilgrimages as there are pilgrims. While we can’t catalogue each individual journey, we can explain the details and history of those routes that tradition has established as the most popular and successful paths to Santiago. The routes have developed and changed over time, and still allow for some deviation. This list reflects, as accurately as possible, the paths that are in use today.

Routes without maps and links do not yet have individual pages dedicated to them. Research on these routes and the towns that comprise them is ongoing, and will be published as soon as possible.
